Paul made a choice for Christianity, likely on the Damascus Road. Paul made a choice and stuck with it. He did not change his mind every two or three days hoping to find a shortcut. The straight and narrow road is the shortcut. There is not easy way. Paul understood this about following Jesus and true spirituality. He wasn't a cry baby, he was a real man that could make a choice and stick with it.
