THE SLURZ, reputedly one of Americas most non-racist Rock groups, marks the reunion of Simon Ritt & Joe Mazzari of THE DAUGHTERS where they learned about racism firsthand playing regularly with former NEW YORK DOLL, the notorious and Irascible JOHNNY THUNDERS In the 1980's. Since then Ritt has gone on to cofound award winning, Country-Rockers THE DARLINGS while Mazzari continues to deliver "Twisted Americana" with his Internationally acclaimed 61 GHOSTS whose drummer Dixie Deadwood provides the backbeat for 'Everything Is Racist'. The Slurz also brings together again Mazzari and bassist Jazz Abbott who played and recorded together In the post-Daughters band TWO SAINTS.
