Dragon Tail Lamproptera Meges is a type of a butterfly-sailboat, in southern and Southeast Asia (India, Thailand, Laos, South China, Philippines, Borneo and Java Islands). This is a small butterfly with a scope of the wings of 40-55 mm.

You can meet it near the stream or quiet little rivers, without moisture, this butterfly can not live. The males of dragon tails absorb a lot of water from which the minerals dissolved in it are filtered, and the excess water is sprayed to the ground.

Note that the upper wings are translucent, and the tails on the lower wings serve this butterfly with the helm. During the flight, this "steering wheel" helps them to suddenly stop and change the direction, so they have been made to confuse them with dragonfly - but butterflies flute a little closer to Earth
