Clouded leopard (handsome)

Clouded leopard is found in southeast Asia: from southern China to Malacca and from the eastern Himalayas to Vietnam. (The subspecies found in Taiwan was declared extinct in 2013, but in early 2019 it was reported that the animal was seen twice in the southeast of the island.) Its habitat is tropical and subtropical forests located at altitudes up to 2000 meters.

According to scientists, in 2008 the number of clouded leopards was no more than 10,000 mature individuals.
