Herpeton (tentacle snake) Erpeton tentaculatum refers to the freshwater snakes of Indochina, or rather, to the already-shaped ones.

Put ❤️❤️❤️

This one already has a pair of cone-shaped tentacles growing on its head. Most likely, these two small outgrowths equipped with muscles are used as sensory sensors, with the help of which the herpeton receives information about what is happening around.

In a calm state, the snake presses its tentacles to its head, and if necessary, pushes them forward like antennae, feeling everything in search of prey.

This snake is small (70-90 cm in length), it never comes out on land and is often covered with algae, which helps it camouflage itself in the water.
