The situation with our beautiful rhinos is so much worse than anyone can imagine, including those who are in the know. These precious beings are being pushed to the brink of extinction. Let that sink in. Within the coming decade this icon might be lost, forever 💔

But we keep fighting, we keep trying. Although dehorning rhinos seems harsh & unnecessary, it’s proved to be the only temporary solution. The horn is back again within 18 months, and poachers will be after this mom & baby once again, to slaughter them & their kind for no good reason whatsoever 🦏

I joined @nkombe_rhino on a recent mission to dehorn some more rhinos. My family came with & my children got to help. To see my daughter so enthralled was incredible. Even her little mind understands that we need to save them.

The ultimate solution is simple, and applies to all wildlife & habitat under threat. We have to STOP utilising them for our gain, stop this utter senseless nonsense. Out rhinos won’t survive the war if we don’t act now ‼️
