An innocent, nostalgic McDonald's mascot from the 80s gets resurrected on a YTMND - long-forgotten meme community - nearly two decades later, and quickly becomes "Moon Man" - an edgy meme character known for racist, violent rap parodies. From there things become distorted, straying from dark humor to straight up hate and white supremacy when the meme spreads to 4chan's /pol/, 8chan and the rest of the internet. Things only get more bizarre from here...
