On January 28th, Jianli Yang, head of the Citizens Power Initiative for China, and Nick Monaco, a Chinese misinformation researcher, revealed in The Diplomat magazine that the Chinese government is ramping up misinformation efforts globally ahead of the Beijing Winter Olympics by some new patterns and characteristics unseen before.
