a. Claims true fulfillment of Old and New Testament
b. Rejects atoning death of Jesus; Jesus as Son of God; Father/Son relationship with
Godhead
c. Many lesser anti-Christian persons or systems
F. The final antichrist
1. Man of lawlessness, son of perdition (2 Thess. 2:1–3 [compare John 17:12])
2. The (wild) beast (Rev. 13:1–4 [compare Rev. 5:5–14, nature of the Lamb])
3. Empowered by Satan to dominate all nations, to obtain worship for Satan, to make
war with God’s saints (Rev. 13:11)
4. Apostasy in the church will open the way for antichrist (2 Thess. 2:3)
