I Let My Daughter Cut My Bangs - Curtain Bangs Tutorial

When my daughter first asked me to let her cut my hair into curtain bangs I told her no. I had had bangs off and on over the years and was a little unsure of if I wanted them again. Plus, she was only 14 years old. She's a competent 14 but still 14. Eventually, she caught me in a weak moment and I gave my consent. It was so worth it just to see how excited she was. We do crazy things sometimes for our kids. Actually, thinking back on it the last time I had bangs was because of her. She was 10 and wanted side bangs but was unsure how they looked so I cut mine as well to help her confidence. She genuinely did a good job cutting the curtain bangs and we want to share with you just how easy it is.

To Marie and Emmaline the lost arts are the useful knowledge related to simple living, country living, modern homesteading, and old-fashioned traditions that are not readily being passed down from generation to generation as they used to. It includes sustainable living skills like gardening, canning basics, and homesteading skills. Some of Marie and Emmaline's favorite hard skills include boiling water bath canning, pressure canning, steam juicing, dehydrating, and fermenting our own food to add to our pantries and food storage.

What Are the Lost Arts? Lost arts are the basic skills for self-sufficient living that have been forgotten or replaced by modern technology. --- WISDOM PRESERVED

Marie and Emmaline’s friendship was almost instantaneous. Within 20 minutes of their first meeting, they were discussing their shared passion for the lost arts.
