Ukrainian army tests rocket launchers near Crimea

The Ukrainian army held military drills in the southern Kherson region bordering annexed Crimea amid heightened tensions with Russia on Tuesday. The drill focused on testing Hurricane, a self-propelled multiple rocket launcher system designed in the Soviet Union. Also known as BM-27 Uragan, the Hurricane system is capable of launching 220 mm rockets that can hit targets at a distance of up to the 90 kms (55 miles).
