Isnt 2nd amendment in USA making police work obsolete

Because if you can just swoop in with a gun, that everyone owns. What would even be the purpose of police there, if gangs or others can just say "Oh we are practicing 2nd amendment too". So what is considered law abiding vs criminals is a thin line due to the fact that 2nd amendment as a idea, is meant to protect against a tyrannical government.
