Where did Self Loathing culture come from vs Positivity culture

Another theory is why didnt they react badly to Korea war from 1950-1953? My theory is they may have made one exception as a standoff war, and that life would go on after that... and that Vietnam war two years after may have fueled some people and yeah, my guess atleast. But whether Self Loathing is helpful... i dont think so interms of creating and build stuff up. But let me know what you think?

But i guess its interesting how the legal citizens vs the outcast and wild hippies became a thing... i still blame The Beatles for hipsters.
