Massive Police Presence in Ottawa, SOMETHING SEEMS DIFFERENT

I watched a lot of BLM/Antifa protests with minimal Police presence or arrests. Was that because they had been peaceful and respectful? Yes, I'm talking about in CANADA. Please HELP me understand the difference in tactics????
