Fixing a Stuck or Broken Valve Adjuster! 1956 International S160.
59
Working on the 1956 International S160. This will work on a large number of mechanical valve adjusters. To be honest, this is the first time I've ever ran into this, so probably uncommon. Some of the information is specific to the International engines, such as the Black Diamond, Silver Diamond and Green Diamond engines as well as those found in most Farmall and International Tractors, at least into the 60s.
For international specifically, the threads are 3/8-24. The International part number for the valve adjuster is 16067DA.
If you have your own way, make sure to throw it down in the comments!
