Tactical 16 Publishing's Why

Tactical16 is a small publishing company owned by veterans continuing to serve the community and understand the therapeutic value of writing. We help Veterans and First Responders their family and friends to tell their stories in their words.

The name Tactical16 has two parts.

1. Tactical refers to the armed forces, police, fire, and rescue communities.
2. 16 is the number of acres destroyed on September 11, 2001, at Ground Zero.

Tactical 16 is on a mission to capture the history of America’s heroes. Sacrifices during chaos, the humorous amid tragedy, and the victories learned from experiences not readily recreated—real stories from real people.

Many of our author’s vision is that their story will provide hope to others, preserve family histories, or share gained insight and knowledge. Other times it’s to entertain based on a unique perspective. We are dedicated to these efforts.

We have a proven approach that is effective and tested with all genres of books. We work directly with each author at every step of the process. We do not offer caned graphics formatting or marketing material.

We support those dedicated to producing a professional product that enriches our authors and reader’s lives.

You don’t have to be a polished author to join our ranks. If you can write with passion and be unapologetic, we want to talk.
