How many of you know about Elon Musk's Mission Mars?

Elon Musk is a South African born American entrepreneur and an innovator. He is considered as one of the greatest visionaries of our time. Musk is a co-founder of PayPal & TESLA. He is also a founder of SpaceX, Neuralink and Boring Company. Musk holds a position of CEO in Tesla and CEO cum chief designer at SpaceX.

Elon Musk was a gifted child, he developed a computer game at the age of 12 and sold it to a computer magazine. He Migrated to Canada in 1988. He studied in Canada and US and got a degree in Physics and Economics.

By the age of 28, he had already established companies like Zip2 and PayPal and sold them to ebay and Compaq respectively for Billions of dollars.

Elon Musk launched his most ambitious project in 2002. He founded SpaceX.

The goal of SpaceX is to make space missions more affordable by designing, manufacturing and launching advanced economical rockets into the space without compromising, the crew safety.

The other ambitious plans of Elon Musk are to launch lunar excursion in 2023. He also plans to establish a permanent base on the moon.
The vision of Elon Musk is to colonize Mars by 2050. In order to achieve this vision, SpaceX will send 1 million people to the Red Planet in 1000 starship rockets known as Starfleet.

In 2006, Elon Musk launched its first rocket, “Falcon 1”. The rocket reached an altitude of 289 kilometers.

In 2010 he launched, “Falcon 9”, and then “Falcon Heavy” in 2018. All these rockets cost much less than the conventional rockets.

Elon Musk is moving smoothly on a mission to colonize Mars and make human race an interplanetary species. SpaceX is developing a breakthrough reusable space travel vehicle called Starship. Powered with 29 Raptor engines, Starship will be able to carry around 100 people to Mars.

Starship has been tested 5 times but 4 times it failed to land perfectly and exploded on landing.

In May 2021, Finally, Starship had a successful landing on Earth’s surface after climbing to 6-mile altitude.

The inaugural orbital test flight of prototype starship into the space will be held somewhere in December 2021.

Musk wants to produce 100 starships a year. His target is to construct 1000 starships in a decade. The Starfleet of 1000 Starships will be able to carry 100 megatons of cargo per year or 100,000 people to Mars.

The timeline of SpaceX’s Mars Mission is to send cargo ships on Martian surface in 2024 followed by a crewed starship in 2025. The Crew will establish a basic infrastructure in order to accommodate future colonists. SpaceX will send other 1 million trained people to colonize Mars by 2050.
By the way, no matter how un-realistic the plans might look, Elon Musk has a reputation of achieving his ambitious goal deadlines.

2050 is roughly 30 years away. I hope some of us will be able witness the day when humankind will be a multi-planetary species. It will be a dawn of human space travel technology and who knows one day Humans may even colonize Exo-planets in habitable zone of other solar systems.
