Finally a new album, I had been making EPs & singles more than anything for the past 2 years, I was experimenting with different things, I definitely was exploring different ways to make music and the different ways to process my experimental guitar sounds.

For this album I've composed every track in their own key, so I had used a guitar tuning that would match the key the song would be in, and then I would compose the midi tracks for the virtual synths (mostly Kontakt) in the key of the song. I've used a lot of different tunings and a lot of different pedalboard setups with the Superego and an effect chains of around 20 pedals. I've grown my microphone setup over the months, especially during the Holidays, I did a lot of recordings in January with the confinement again it gave me the opportunity to finish the other half of the album basically in that period.

The inspirations for this album comes from many Cyberpunk/Dystopian movies/games and I add some elements of my personal life and create my own Dystopian fiction(is it really fiction though?). I decided to turn this in a concept album with 2 themes for each sides of the cassette tape, as I've designed this album specifically for the cassette tape release. Side A is filled with melancholic ambient soundscapes, lush synthesizer pads and very mysterious drones & atmospheres. Side B is mostly focused around beat oriented songs paired with the Experimental Guitar soundscapes, using a few different genres for the Drums going from Hardwave / Witch House to Industrial Sounds and up to slowed down Dubstep.

I have worked for 5 months on this album and during that time I've perfected the mixing process especially for my Experimental Guitar sounds, I found which plugins sound best and give a fatter sound to my soundscapes. I have used the Modular Synthesizer quite a lot also throughout the album, not only to process the guitar into but also to use the oscillators to create some really cool stereo sound effects to add ambience to the songs.
