Canada: 'Freedom Convoy' protesters remain on Parliament Hill for second consecutive day.
Ottawa's Parliament Hill was seen flooded with protesters as well as lorry drivers from the 'Freedom Convoy' for the second consecutive day, Sunday, as people gathered to oppose COVID restrictions and vaccine mandates put in place unsuccessfully to stop the spread of the virus.
“I would like to say this, the founding fathers of our country founded the principles under which we live and the Judeo-Christian ethics. And we have abandoned that as a country. We are no longer a Judeo-Christian country, we no longer stand for anything in this country anymore," said one lorry driver.
The 'Freedom Convoy' is a organised convoy of trucks that set out last weekend from British Columbia in a protest against vaccine mandates, that also require truckers returning from the United States to show proof of vaccination.
