Utah Senate Passes E-Verify To Stop ID Theft (Child Victim Testimony)

In 2010, the Utah Senate passed legislation (SB251) requiring employers to use E-Verify to prevent child identity theft.

This video is testimony given on the senate floor by citizens in favor of the E-Verify bill. One is a mother of a child ID theft victim (10 adults were using her Social Security Number) and the other is a victim of ID theft who was arrested and nearly extradited to several states if it had not been for his wife's efforts.
