In today’s episode, I will dive into the passage in Luke 15 regarding the parable of the prodigal. This is a hotly debated passage. I will give you, NOT my interpretation, but my thoughts on how I received this.

Carnal Christians are backsliders! All the passages we read in the bible regarding backsliders are referenced to Israel. Jeremiah 3:14 says: “‘Return, O backsliding children,’ says the Lord; ‘for I am married to you. I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.'”; Hosea 14:4 The Lord says; “I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, for My anger has turned away from him.”; Hosea 2:10 “Now I will uncover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and no one shall deliver her from My hand.” Hosea 2:16 “And it shall be in that day, says the Lord, that you will call Me ‘My Husband,’ and no longer call Me ‘My Master.'”

I think the passage in Luke 15 gives some help for the backslider in the church. Please tune in today and maybe this will help someone who is “far away” from Christ at the moment!!
