Through my experiences as a father, husband, and son, I have come to understand that we all have different needs at different times, especially when it comes to parenting.. Building and maintaining a solid father-son relationship is not an easy thing to do, and for some, it's impossible. It's impossible for some to be flexible and willing to change as the relationship changes. Steven and his father have found common ground that allows love to exist. This is a beautiful song and a touching tribute to his father.
