Seven Raptures in the Bible

Scripture tells us that God declares the end from the beginning. God is not in the dark concerning what is to come. God has a very clear vision of what tomorrow looks like, what next week looks like, what next year looks like, etc. While we don’t always get the whole picture, God does give us insight and vision for our lives. He wants us to know where we are headed and what He has planned for us.
“Remember this, and show yourselves men; Recall to mind, O you transgressors.9 Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying
‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’ Isaiah 46:8-10
The Rapture is a very controversial view in the Bible. There are many theories that many great scholars and preachers concerning the end time. This is one teaching that divides the Body of Christ into different camps. I believe that God wants the church to get into unity.
There is considerable discussion today among believers and unbelievers concerning this topic. When will it happen? Who will go? Is this the second coming of Christ that Scripture speaks of? Paul takes great effort to educate the Thessalonians concerning these matters. Earlier in this same chapter, Paul speaks of the resurrection of those who have died “in Christ,” indicating that immediately prior to the rapture of the living believers, believers who had died during the New Testament period and afterward would be resurrected.
One thing that I want to emphasize is that every believer has to be cautious in what they interpret is the truth. Confusion is not of God but yet we have to be bold in our conviction and belief.
The most important thing is that each of us need to know that we are born-again through the blood of Jesus Christ. This is what sets us aside as believers and gives us the hope that brings us this blessed hope and joy.
