Colts first time working on rope with saddle on.

This is gunner‘s first time being lunged around me with his saddle on. You never know if they’re gonna spook from the flapping stirrups or just having something on their back. At the very beginning he thought about bucking but I pulled him out of it and he did good. I wasn’t very graceful with the rope being too long but I know it’s very important you do not get that rope wrapped around your feet legs or hand. That’s a good way to get them snatched off with a young green horse. But I was pleased with Gunner and ok satisfaction with my communication skills today.
