Independent Filmmaking has been hindered recently with studios like Warner Bros and Disney locking down big name actors in First Look Deals or Multi-Year Contracts. This has affected a lot of smaller movies like The Expendables 4, The Portable Door, and He Went That Way. Is this going to be doom and gloom for Independent Studios or are we going to see a renaissance birth out of this? Only time will tell
