Studios Eye 2022 Theatrical Slates: "Windowing Is Getting Very Tricky"

2021 was the first year where we saw Day-And-Date Releases for Major Movies. Theaters fought against this paradigm for years, but were forced to accept it. Now, the studios are in a new paradigm where they have to decide what films to keep Theatrical Exclusive and what films to bring to Streaming Services. Is this genie ever getting put back in the bottle? I think not
