Mario Kart 9's Guest Characters Could Get Smash-Style Reveals

With the rumors that Mario Kart 9/Mario Kart Crossroads is in development, there is a lot of speculation going around. One of the ideas floating around is if Nintendo is going to make this game a true crossover with a lot of their IPs, then the character roster will be revealed slowly to not let the game die in the Public Consciousness.
