3. Decline and Fall of the Western World

Democracy is in peril. This is widely acknowledged.

The Western world has split into two sides that hate one another. Also widely known.

People have lost trust in major parties, the gap between rich and poor has grown, our society is more toxic than ever, and people have little hope for a better future.

Sixty years ago, jet aircraft, space travel, and technology promised a glorious future. What went wrong?

The advertising industry spends three quarters of a trillion US dollars per year to completely distort and reshape the Western mind. Of all the forces that have shaped our culture, this may be the most powerful force of all. Do not underestimate its malevolence.

As a result, our culture is not defined almost entirely by consumerism, the most insidious algorithms ever created prey upon our children's minds, and mental illness is at stratospheric levels.

My name is William Flynn, and I'm running for the NSW Senate, because it's time to take back our glorious Western Civilisation.
