Sunday Longplay - Horizon Chase Turbo (PC) - Senna Forever DLC, All Senna's Marks

This week on Sunday Longplay, a new expansion pack for the retro-styled racer Horizon Chase Turbo just dropped last Wednesday, so let's put the pedal to the metal once again! Welcome to the Horizon Chase Turbo DLC expansion, Senna Forever!

As its name implies, this expansion is based on the life and career of Brazilian Formula One race car driver Ayrton Senna. Throughout his career from 1984 until his fatal car crash in 1994, Senna had racked up 41 Grand Prix titles and 65 pole positions (which was a record that stood until 2006). However, his distinguished career came to an end on May 1, 1994, when his car crashed into a concrete barrier at the San Marino Grand Prix at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. The crash was ruled to be a result of mechanical failure, and it was a turning point in Formula One safety measures.

The expansion includes a series of brand-new tracks based on real-life Formula One race tracks, including Brazil's Jacarepagua and Interlagos circuits, Monaco's infamous F1 hell track, Belgium's Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Hungary's Hungaroring, the old 1990s version of Germany's Hockenheimring (not the modern-day version which the main game track Kilauea: Final Challenge is based on), Japan's Suzuka circuit, the 1968-88 version of the Kyalami Circuit in South Africa, the old Circuito Permanente de Jerez in Spain, and a few others as well.

There are two plays to play these new tracks: Career Mode, which retraces the story of Ayrton Senna's career, or in Championship Mode where you race a series of randomly-generated tracks in a row to become the overall point winner (like the tournaments in the base game). There are also a few new songs from composer Barry Leitch (previously of Top Gear fame!), as well as special objectives for each race in Career Mode, known as Senna's Marks. In this playthrough I will be getting all of Senna's Marks in Career Mode as well as completing a Championship on all difficulties for every achievement.
