This should be an exciting time for Cardano and COTI as the February 2022 launch date of the Djed stablecoin nears, but the implications of the America COMPETES Act now looms like a brewing storm over the whole U.S. crypto industry, not just Cardano.

In the video, Charles Hoskinson passionately warns all those who invest in cryptocurrencies about the ‘America COMPETES Act’ that was unveiled in the House of Representatives today, January 26, 2022. They plan on voting on this bill on Jan 31st.

He is reacting to the hidden crypto regulations, outlined in the article below by the leading non-profit research and crypto advocacy group Coin Center, which was slipped into this bill by Jim Himes, Democrat Connecticut congressman, and a former Goldman Sachs employee.

This is only 3 minutes of a 13-minute video where Charles goes point by point of why he believes this America COMPETES Act will make the cryptocurrency market vulnerable to the whims of unelected bureaucrats who incidentally want to create their own government-issued centralized digital currency. This bill is touted by the legacy media as America's way to compete with China and to help our supply chain and blah blah blah. You know the typical spin. But they conveniently never mention all the hidden language that was slipped into this bill by the Democrats. THIS IS ANOTHER TROJAN HORSE.

Also, at the end of the article, you will see a link to where you can go and voice your disapproval of this bill. WE HAVE LITTLE TIME TO ACT.
