Become ATUS/CMAS Level 1 in scuba diving

ATUS / CMAS training courses are recognized around the world and allow you to dive within the limits of your prerogatives up to 60 meters (when local laws allow it) with decompression stops.

Prerogatives

The level 1 diver can practice scuba diving in exploration in the zone from 0 to 20 meters within a group supervised by a dive guide diver (level 4)
In addition, the level 1 diver can:
Follow the additional PA-12 training allowing them to dive independently up to a maximum of 12 meters (that is to say without being supervised by a dive guide), on condition of being of age, to dive in pairs ( with a diver of minimum level PA-12 too) and in the presence of a diving director.
Follow a training course to receive the "nitrox diver" qualification.
Take the training and present yourself as a candidate for level 2.

Trials

The skills expected of the level 1 diver must allow him to evolve in the median space (from 0 to 20 meters deep) in complete safety3:

Before diving:
Knowing how to rig your diving suit, adjust your stabilization vest
Getting into the water using several different techniques (straight jump, back tilt)

Surface :
Stay on the surface (kicking support).
Swim with a scuba (capele) or without a scuba (using the fins-mask-snorkel set) to reach a dive site or a boat, for example

While diving:
Control ventilation and monitor air consumption (use of the pressure gauge)
Stabilize at any depth (control of the BC)
Respond to usual situations (air failure of a teammate, pain in the ears or sinuses, cold, loss of the team, etc.)
empty your mask entirely, in various situations, without stress, without disturbing stabilization
Return to the surface in complete safety (control of the ascent rate, leveling off)
Travel short distances in inspiratory and expiratory apnea

After the dive:
Undo your diving suit
Clean, decontaminate and store the material used.
