DELAYED AND CONFUSED is a tale of an OLD TRAVELLER NOT so IN TUNE WITH TECHNOLOGY

The tale begins with a text message exchange between the host and the traveller:

Traveller: Hello, my flight has been delayed and I wonder if you can hide the key somewhere for me.

Host: Don't worry, please read the check-in instructions and use the keypad with your door code.

Traveller: Ok, will do. Thank you

Host: You are welcome. Safe travels, see you tomorrow.

As it is getting late and everything is set for the traveller’s self check-in arrival, the man decides to call it a day and goes to sleep.
The following day, up to an early start the clock shows 05:32am and host wakes up to check his phone and finds several messages from the traveller:

00:27: I can't find the door

00:29: I don't know the door code

00:30: Please answer, I can't get in

The host rushes to the door to look for the traveller but sees nobody. He sends him messages and tries to call but nothing is getting through.
A couple of hours later the host is in the living as he hears a bedroom door open and sees the traveller:

Host: Oh, good morning. I'm sorry I couldn't stay awake last night. I'm glad you found your way in.

Traveller: No no, my apologies. There were more delays with customs and I didn't have wifi to get the door code until I called my daughter and she helped.

Host: I didn't hear you last night and earlier this morning I couldn't tell if you had arrived but got worried with your text messages. Well… welcome! I hope you had a good sleep in the end.

Traveller: Yes, wonderful night. Thank you. And sorry again.

Host: No problem. Please let me know should you need anything. Have a great day!
