The tale begins as the host family is having dinner and the two young friends arrive with their meals.
One of them seems very hungry and goes straight to the table. The other friend finishes preparing her meal and also seems hungry as she gets to the diner table. They both seem very energetic and keep forgetting things they should have done, and even things they already did.
They finally settle and start eating their meals. At one point one of the girls mentions she is craving beans and wishes they had it.
The other girl finds it a great idea and suggests they should cook some after dinner.

After dinner they both get together in the kitchen and start cooking some beans. One of them needs to take a shower and asks the other one to watch the beans. She agrees but alerts her friend she also has to go to bed early and asks her to come back soon. The friend promptly confirms and leaves the kitchen to take her shower.

The time is passing and the friend is nowhere to be seen. The one left cooking has been distracted by her phone and also leaves the kitchen before finishing cooking.
Vapors are still coming off the pot when the clock strikes 10:15pm.

The house is quiet and everybody seems to have gone to sleep. It is now almost 4am and the host family wakes up to the smell of something burning. The man jumps out of the bed and runs off as smoke fills up the bedroom.
He runs into the kitchen, where smoke is visible everywhere. The pot is still on the stove but now flames are coming up, and he says "Holy smokes!" while coughing profusely.
The man grabs a fire extinguisher and blasts the stove. Smoke starts clearing up and the man puts his hands on his head and says "Uff. That was close!".

They spend the rest of the night cleaning up the kitchen. Finally the two princesses wake up and walk into the kitchen all happy after a nice night of sleep: "Good morning! How are you today?" and go ahead to ask them "What happened to our delicious beans?"
Both the man and woman look at them with a mad face but say nothing.
