NV5600 Rebuild, Part 02. Dodge Ram 3500 Manual Transmission, Getting Ready for the Rebuild

Shot in 2017, I rebuilt my 2003 Dodge Ram Cummins NV5600 manual 6-speed transmission due to worn synchros (poor gear to gear shifting habits) and a damaged input-shaft pilot bearing. I bought a new input shaft, and a series of new bearings and synchros. I recorded the entire process and originally posted it on YouTube. I've since grown to dislike YouTube and their need to censor free speech so I deleted my account. I have begun the process of moving my DIY video's here. I am obviously just a silly guy making videos and stop-motion sequences in his barn so please don't expect any well thought out video & dialog editing - I don't have time for that! I just want to provide some self help for people that may be tackling similar tasks that may seem overly daunting at first glance. A bit of background: I am a person of many years experience on my own and professionally in the repair and upkeep of all things electrical and mechanical. I have a degree in old-school electrical engineering with concentrations in mechanical engineering. I love repairing anything with an engine. Best of luck! I hope someone can use this information.
