Dems Supreme Court Strategy May Backfire, 3774

Good evening, I’m still reporting on the coup.

The left’s knee-jerk reaction to today’s announcement of the retirement of Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer shows that the Desperados think that this provides their only way out of the box canyon they have been putting themselves into over the last two years.

However, the likelihood is that it will expose infighting that will only peel the band-aid off an ever-growing divisional wound within. The result: the Desperados will certainly lose control of both houses of Congress later this year, plus the White House in 2024.

The way things are currently going, the Democrats are facing a decade or more of Republican rule.

The American people are united in their belief that Joe Biden is not fit to be president. Biden’s approval ratings have fallen even in the far-left leaning polls to the high 30s, in the right leaning polls he’s in the low 30s and there doesn’t appear to be anywhere for him to go but down. Another disaster like his last couple of press conferences and he could be in the 20s.

Even Biden can’t get away with calling a reporter a “Son of Bitch” without losing support.

The problem the Democratic leadership has is that they can’t get rid of Biden because his vice president Kamala Harris is even more unpopular and obviously more incompetent than Biden. To force Biden out and put Harris in the White House would put the Democrats further down in the polls.

But now the Democrats think they have a solution. Biden can nominate Harris for the Supreme Court, an appointment for life. Harris can giggle and give non-anwers all she wants on the Supreme Court and nobody can do anything about it – or even report upon it.

Then the Democrats find someone who is more competent than Biden, which shouldn’t be difficult and more popular than Harris, also not a steep mountain to climb, and put them in as vice president.

Then Biden has some health issue that will force him to step down. At Biden’s age it shouldn’t be difficult to come up with a health issue that would “sadly” force him to resign and he can go back to his home in Delaware where he obviously prefers to spend his time.

The new Democratic President can attempt to solve some of the problems that Biden has created, starting with a policy on the southern border, freeing up the energy sector to bring gas prices down which will help keep inflation from soaring as well as slowing the funneling of federal money into the economy.

Perhaps the new president could even attempt to work with the Republicans in Congress so that Republicans would have to take some of the blame for the mess that Biden has created.

The midterm debacle for the Democratic Party appears to be too far along to stop at this point, but it could give the Democrats a chance for a comeback in 2024 and a chance at retaining the White House. At first blush, this does look like a promising exit ramp from burning American cities, escalating crime, and 2 million new illegal aliens.

But hold the phone! This just in. According to The Hill – a solid Democrat source – Justice Stephen Breyers finally made his own announcement of his impending retirement today – instead of some anonymous person jumping the gun yesterday – and Breyer said that he will be retiring from the court when the Court’s current term ends which is usually July, or even as late as August! But when you click on the “Read the full story here” link – which is the newspaper equivalent of reading a story “below the fold”, what do you find?

Justice Breyer makes some very interesting quotes about the great American experiment in democratic governance.

You have to be totally out of touch if you have not deduced by now that the great American experiment is under a direct low-intensity warfare attack today by an alliance of the European communists, the Chinese communists, the mainstream media, and most of the big tech social media. I calld them The Minions of Satan. That’s a formidable alliance, my friends.

And that’s not to mention that only today it was announced that this delightful little ANTIFA crew from the Portland, Oregon riots were released from jail without any charges, nor bail by our own Department of Justice. Attorney General Merrick Garland is such a nice man. They didn’t actually set that many firebombs, after all. And then there is the matter of ANTIFA leading the Jan. 6th assault on the nation’s capital disguised as Trump supporters --- but I digress.

According to Harvard law professor, Alan Derschowitz, Justice Breyer and he attended Harvard Law together. Prof. Derschowitz says that Breyer is the only moderate Democrat left on the court, unless you count the Chief Justice in.

Justice Breyer knows that the great American experiment is not healthy. In fact, it hangs on a slender thread, and it may well be that only he has a chance to save it. Here is the below-the-folld stuff. According to Breyer’s letter to Biden, released by the Supreme Court press office today, Breyer’s letter told Biden:

“I intend this decision to take effect when the Court rises for the summer recess this year (typically late June or early July) assuming that by then my successor has been nominated and confirmed.”

Hmmmmm, let that sink in for a second or two. This cannot be good news for the Minions of Satan. First of all, there will be a huge internal fight among the lefties about whether to nominate a hard left person, totally unqualified and widely disliked - Kamala Harris – a woman who flunked out of law school at one point. However, the more moderate wing of the Desperado party will argue that a hard leftist – especially an incompetent one – will have a tough fight to get confirmed by the same Senate that just rejected all of Biden’s major Marxist spending initiatives before the Congress.

So, Justice Breyer has great leverage here to insist on someone nominated as close to his so-called moderate political posture as possible. Why? Because the clock is ticking, and it is not impossible that by a combination of leftist infighting and Republican foot dragging that this nomination might not be filled until after the coming election?

You’ve got it. Until after the upcoming mid-term elections in November where Republicans will doubtlessly win huge victories, not only in Congress, but across the political spectrum. And then, the Desperado’s political position will be much, much weaker.

So, Justice Breyer can help drag out the clock, or not. That’s totally up to him, and as has just been demonstrated in the last few weeks, not only the resident-in- chief, but his entire Congressional caucus have already entered lame-duck status.

I’m still reporting from the citadel of world freedom. Good day.
