IGY (International Geophysical Year) by Donald Fagen

From July 1st, 1957 until December 31st, 1958, it was known as IGY, or the International Geophysical Year, where Modern Science promised to Mankind a Better World for all to live in...where Technologies would take most of the work away from man, give it to "Just Machines" so that we would be governed well, and have more Leisure time for our Artistic pursuits...all in all, it was a time of Great Hope for the Future, that after the HORROR of Two World Wars and the "Korean Conflict", a Brighter Future was on our Doorstep, waiting for us through Modern Science and Organized Society...

It wasn't the first time that they lied to us, and it wouldn't be the last...

But a funny thing happened in 1960, a Brilliant and Bright Young Man, who Thought Big and talked with such Awareness for all, accidentally won the US Presidential Election away from Richard Nixon...and suddenly, the whole world had HOPE once more...but as Donald Fagen said, "and we all know what [they] did to Him..."

It was a Cruel and Bitter act designed to squash any Hope out of Mankind, preparing us for what was about to come...a constant world at war, where Morals and Beliefs sunk into the gutter of oblivion, awaiting an ever-approaching Darkness to cover us all....

But it didn't happen...a second Miracle occurred...the Bloodline of Jesus Christ came to the rescue of Mankind by Taking out our Mortal Enemy, the Cabal, and now, a second chance at Bliss awaits us all...

God Bless Donald Fagen and Steely Dan for their song's of Truth and God's Glory and to John and Robert Kennedy, who took on the Heart of Evil in this world, alone, trying to gift us all a better Way moving forward...who knows, maybe one day soon, we will see them once again...
