Quake (2021) - E2M6: The Dismal Oubilette (Nightmare, 100% Secrets)

The final map of Quake Episode 2 is one of the longest maps in the game, made even longer by the fact that the 2021 remaster restores a section of the map in the beginning that was cut out in the initial 1996 release. This also allows it to overtake E4M3: The Elder God Shrine for the highest enemy count in a single level, with 107 enemies to E4M3's 105. At the end of this level lies the Rune of Black Magic, guarded by two Vores, a brand-new enemy introduced in this level that take 4 rockets to kill and fire homing missiles that can turn on a dime. You thought the Revenants from Doom were a threat with their homing missiles? At least the Revenant's shots are easy to maneuver around. Not the case with the Vore's!
