In Daniel 6:6-10, we look behind the scenes to see the actions of Daniel's enemies. A crafty conspiracy comes together as Daniel's opponents propose a new law to Darius. The emperor is deceived by pride to restrict all prayer for 30 days. During this period citizens must only petition Darius for help, rejecting all other men and gods. Upon hearing this decree, Daniel visibly and fearlessly prays to God as he had always done. When the trap is set for us, will we be faithful as Daniel? Are we faithful in the little things today?
