Half of the country's Attorneys General have signed on to an amicus brief asking the Supreme Court to revisit Maryland's ban on so-called assault weapons, arguing that the Fourth Circuit got it wrong when it upheld the gun ban in 2017 and inaction from SCOTUS could lead lower courts interpreting the Second Amendment out of existence.
