Doyle - The Twig & I - Part One

A 1995 documentary about the late Richard Doyle, also known as the Twig Painter. The most famous artist in Springfield, Massachusetts at the turn of the century, Doyle's art gallery on Boston Road was a mecca for Springfield's bohemian community. Doyle the Twig Painter was a professor at American International College, where he taught exclusively the twig painting technique he invented in the 1960's.
