SAN JOSE CA DEMANDS GUN OWNER PAY LIABILITY INSURANCE AND ANNUAL FEE

I do not understand how punishing the law abiding for the unlawful acts of criminals will curb criminal behavior. Furthermore, taxing the law abiding for protecting themselves from said criminals only places more revenue in the hands of the very leaders that misappropriated the funds they had into policies that didn’t diminish gun violence in the first place. And to add insult to injury, your asking gun owners to carry insurance because gun violence is costing your citizens 442 million a year. Let me get this straight; gun violence is perpetrated by criminals and costing lawful citizens over 400 million a year and your solution is to squeeze even more money out of your citizens? How exactly is this policy going to affect gun violence? Are these leaders that inept or could it be that their personal mission, in spite of what they say, is not protecting their constituents at all. All we need do is look to states with strict gun laws and review how those laws have addressed the underlying problems behind gun violence. I believe the goal is and has always been the disarmament of the American people. Why? Because an armed populace poses a threat to the Democrat’s agenda for centralized power. They do not care how many casualties litter their city streets. They can’t protect you, they don’t want you to protect yourselves, their policies set violent criminals loose upon you, and when your 3 year old is shot in head while sleeping in the back of your car, they tell you the solution isn’t harsher punishment for monsters; the solution is keeping you from lawfully possessing the same level of force that the beast who killed your baby possessed illegally.
