Follow Most of the Bible

Many Christians want to customize the Bible and follow most of the bible, but exclude any difficult parts. They want to water down God's word and make it more comfortable for people to follow. It is the customer mentality in religion.

I understand the temptation, because the bible way is tough (Matthew 7:13-14). But if God wanted us to travel a different path, then He would have given us a different map. No, we don't enjoy everything on the straight and narrow way, but this is the way. We enter the kingdom through many tribulations (Acts 14:22).

Thus, we come back to our original ideal of Hebrews 2:1, that we must give the more earnest heed lest we drift away. Christianity is wonderful but it is not easy. don't let Satan trip you up.
