Overview of Recent State Water Related Funding

In fiscal year 2021-22, the State of California had a $49 billion surplus. For 22-23 the surplus will be $29 billion. President Biden's American Rescue Plan Act is distributing $43 billion to California at the State and Local levels, more than any other state. Billions more is coming from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
