Russian president Vladimir Putin warned that Russia was prepared to take military steps in response to 'unfriendly' western actions over Ukraine. Putin called for 'serious negotiations' on Russian security demands put to the US & NATO. Putin has also slammed the United States, accusing it of easily going back on international treaties for one or another reason. "In the event of the continuation of the obviously aggressive stance by our Western colleagues, we will take appropriate retaliatory military-technical measures, reacting firmly to unfriendly actions,” said Putin. Meanwhile, United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken said there will be ‘massive consequences’ for Russia if it engages in further acts of aggression against Ukraine.
