30 Yet many years didst thou forbear them & testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands.
31 Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious & merciful God.
32 Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty & the terrible God, who keepest covenant & mercy, let not all the trouble seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our kings, on our princes & on our priests & on our prophets & on our fathers, and on all thy people, since the time of the kings of Assyria unto this day.
33 Howbeit thou art just in all that is brought upon us; for thou hast done right, but we have done wickedly

29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing & the curse, which I have set before thee & thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God & shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart & with all thy soul;
3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity & have compassion upon thee & will return & gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee & from thence will he fetch thee:
