Train 3671 台鐵3671 🇹🇼 (2020-12)

Views of train 3671 departing from Fangliao Station (Pingtung County) at 11:28 for Taitung. The commuter train with diesel locomotive and blue colored rail cars will be replaced by an EMU with the electrification of the south-link line end of 2020.
Plan: Taking one of the last diesel powered blue commuter trains from Fangliao to Jinlun; passing through great scenery on the south-link line. Many other people had the same idea. Realizing that there would be no seat at all available (not to mention a window seat) and having a 90 minutes journey ahead (standing) the plan was changed to do some sightseeing in Fangliao instead. This included the fishing harbor, enjoying deep fried seafood and train spotting at Fangliao station. A ride with the modern EMU Puyuma express train concluded the day. The blue commuter train with diesel locomotive will resurface as historic sightseeing train in future.
