The Phoenix Heat Engine. A Stirling engine design to operate on a wood stove across a wide range of temperatures. Also to be built with readily available parts and common tools. What can be difficult about running a Stirling engine on a wood stove is once the stove is up to operating temp air around the engine is very hot as well as the engine. In addition the temperature varies wildly across hundreds of degrees.
