Canada orders diplomats' families out, Ukrainian-Canadians anxious as Russian threat looms

With tensions rising, families of Canadian diplomats along with military personnel in Ukraine are being ordered out of the country, as Ottawa considers its next steps to respond to a possible Russian invasion.

Mercedes Stephenson reports on what aid Canada has planned for Ukraine and the possible Russian retaliation it's bracing for.

Canada also has the largest Ukrainian population outside of Ukraine and Russia, with more than 1.3 million people identifying as Ukrainian-Canadian.

And many of them are increasingly uneasy about the uncertainty in their homeland. As Mike Drolet reports, many are calling for western governments to take a strong and united stance against Russia.
