2004年底中華民國總統李登輝請戰爭法林志昇博士，將台灣地位套入戰爭法內的敘述。

At the end of 2004, the President of the Republic of China, Lee Teng-hui, asked Dr. Roger C.S. Lin, the law of war, to integrate Taiwan's status into the law of war.
