Celebrate the 25th Annual Holiday Lighting in Central Park.

After missing out last year, this is a must-do event for families! See the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center light up with holiday lights and take part in a number of seasonal festivities including: singing carols, watching ice carving demonstrations and enjoying treats. You can expect to see Santa and have a chance to take photos with your own camera. The evening concludes with a flotilla of illuminated trees on the Harlem Meer.

The event includes a live countdown to lighting a dazzling flotilla of trees on the Meer, a poem read by Conservancy staff, and more holiday fun. Cozy up with some cocoa (check out our recipes below), get your song sheets ready, and carol into the night with this festive evening hosted by the Women’s Committee of the Central Park Conservancy.
